What Hairstyle Fits You?

Determine First what was the SHAPE of your FACE.

OVAL is a perfectly balanced face and it can flaunt almost all hair styles.  The forehead is somewhat wider than the jaw. Don’t have any problem in choosing the right hairstyle but make sure to choose a hairstyle that won’t cover your face.

Note: Avoid heavy bangs and lots of forward.

Celebrities with OVAL Shaped Face:

Heart-Shaped face has a broad forehead, tapering to a small neat chin and mouth. Therefore hairstyles should be such that will decrease the width of the forehead and increase the width of the lower part of the face. Choose slender, rounded or square styles, with lower set sides.

Note: Avoid short, full styles with tapered necklines will emphasize the upper face and make you look top-heavy.

Celebrities with HEART Shaped Face:

SQUARE shaped face face is about as wide as it is long.  You have a strong, square jawline and a square hairline. Create an illusion of length and should be to soften the sharp angle of jaw line and minimize your squared-off brow. Try short, spiky cuts and long, sleek styles with layers that start at the jaw line and continue downward.

Note: Avoid thin, angular and square styles, and those with color emphasis on the bottom rim.

Celebrities with SQUARE Shaped Face:

ROUND face is fairly short with a wide forehead, often with full cheeks and a rounded chin. The face looks full and has very few angles. Full cheeks can conceal even the best bone structure, causing a round face to lack definition. Try styles that add fullness and height at the crown.  Look for off-center parts.

Note: Avoid slick back styles without hair touching your face. Do not add width around the sides of your face, this will make the face appear to be wider than normal.

Celebrities with ROUND Shaped Face:

Long face has high cheekbones and a deep forehead. You can balance the face’s narrowness with the right frame style. A style with all over color will suit you. Try wide frames and those with a strong top line. A larger, square frame can give balance to a long, oval face.

Note: Avoid  small, square shapes.
